Was looking for a random Mexican spot in Queens and stumbled upon this little spot. The food is amazing, low price, and Great Guacamole... Will Come Back..

This place is just great! Small tucked away, behind the park and the Chase Bank. About 7-8 small tables, clean and a super sweet waitress. The menu is pretty extensive with many Mexican dishes and American fare as well! I had already eaten pretty badly for lunch so I had to have a salad for dinner. Honestly, you don't see too much salad around here (which is A-OK) but working long shifts and eating poorly takes a toll! The chips and salsa were very good, the salsa had a bit of a sweetness to it, I also had a tamarindo drink, a little too sweet for my taste - I had them add some water! I was just going to go with a salad, which was really good, had some nice greens, ripe tomatoes and cucumbers along with half an avocado. I couldn't resist - Barbacoa Taco (goat) I love goat, it was fresh and tender with that mild gamey flavor that I just love! So if you don't mind walking a little bit off the main strip, come here it's an intimate little spot with great food and service!

Ordered here @ Genesis a Cubano sandwich. Inside is some refried beans and Hot dogs. YEAH you heard me hot dogs cut in half. Worse part is they charged $17. If you dont want seventeen dollar hot dogs then go elsewhere. This place has steadily gone down since they changed the cook. Go to Ayada accross the street instead. You get a lot more for $17 bucks.

I can't believe I've lived just 2 blocks away from this place for 4 years, and only started eating from there 3 months ago...I have to stop overlooking whats right under my nose. Love their fresh juices and their agua frescas especially the tamarindo and horchata. Make sure you try the goat, i prefer it on a tostada. They are very generous with fillings for tacos and tostadas...The flautas are also great.,Even the tortilla chips are made fresh and still warm when served with the great guacamole. Service is always great, I ate there twice and ordered delivery once...Never had any issues. This has quickly become my neighborhood favorite.

Seriously, why isn't this place more busy? Really solid tacos. So fresh and home made. Don't get me started with the guacamole. Just go and try it.

This small and clean restaurant (20 seats only) has both Tex and traditional Mexican food. Their horchata is fantastic, chicken with green sauce is with a great rich and balanced flavor, and their black beans is the best I've ever had in a Mexican restaurant.

Really good shrimp tacos and steak tacos here! The salsa and chips is really good , the salsa is flavorful! Nice little place with a play on health food and smoothies. I didnt have any smoothjes but they also have beer and wine , this I thought could be a better selection for dinner time.

It's a small restaurant, possibly 8 tables max, but we like supporting family owned businesses. Food was freshly prepared. We ordered a chicken burrito, a torta and a couple of tacos to go. L also had a watermelon smoothie while we waited. He really enjoyed it; I normally dislike any nonalcoholic drink that is watermelon based, they're usually flavorless, but this was quite nice. The chicken burrito was good, not the best I've had. L mentioned that one of the tacos was a bit dry but after pouring a bit of the green sauce, he said it was really good. The red and green sauces aren't very spicy but they're quite flavorful. They do have daily specials as well as lunch specials so I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area. I do hope they work on the "B" health rating, even though it did look much cleaner than the average Latino restaurant.

Great find a few blocks from work!! Small place but they do deliver. I am a pescatarian and they offer veggie, fish and shrimp options. I had the fish taco, shrimp taco and the 3 cheese quesadilla with shrimp. Everything was good and fresh, and they were not stingy with the fillng. Will definitely be going back!!!

Food is really good and portioned well. Place is unassuming but as mentioned food is good. We had the guacamole, steak nachos and grilled salmon in tomato sauce with jalapeños.

(Review for delivery only) I love this place, I order from them at least once a week if not more. The guacamole and chips alone is worth the order, but I also love their flautas, and especially the sincronizadas quesadillas. Plus (barring superheavy nights such as the World Cup) their delivery is timely, and you get the the sense that the chef/staffs really cares about quality service.

Delicious Mexican food. I love the fresh baked chips and sweet salsa. The vegetables were fresh and my boyfriend loved the horchata. Their specials are really good and worth the price ($12.99 for an appetizer, entree and drink). It's clean, small, cozy, and they take credit card!

Good fresh food, modern Mexican. I love the side salad that comes with their quesadilla. Their horchata is AMAZING! It isn't gritty and funny tasting like most places. It's clean and refreshing bursting with flavors of rice and cinnamon. This place also seems much cleaner than most other Hispanic (out of all the Colombian, Ecuadorian, and Mexican) restaurants in the area.

I've been to Genesis twice now and both times, food was very good and flavorful. I don't usually have cravings for Mexican food, but this restaurant is an exception. They also have daily specials that are a bang for your buck. Most recently they had an appetizer mix (consisted of fries, chicken wings, and empanadas) with entree (I got grilled salmon in ginger sauce) and drink (choice of horchata, jamaica, or tamarindo) for $12.99. Meat entrees are very tender and fall off the bone and the mole and red sauces are equally amazing. Next time I will have to try something with the green sauce and the regular foods such as tacos and enchiladas. Downside is it's cash only, but there's a Chase nearby.

Great Mexican food. The flavors are light and not overpowering. I had their chicken quesadilla and a tostada and I have to say, they were generous with the toppings and the chicken. The chicken was soft too. Delivery is fast too. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because I wasn't blown away by the food. Still, I'll order from here again!

I had a $7 lunch special there, it came with fresh-baked chips, some delicious flautas and salad, and a tilapia burrito. Everything was delicious and pleasant. Hell of a deal!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
